Childrens Liturgy

Children’s Liturgy at St. Augustine’s

Children’s Liturgy is a wonderful opportunity for young children to grow in their faith in a way that is engaging and accessible. During Mass, children are invited to leave the main church and participate in their own liturgical celebration, where they hear the Word of God in a child-friendly format. The children are taught age-appropriate Bible stories, participate in prayer, and engage in activities that help them understand the teachings of the Church.

This ministry is designed for children aged 4 to 8 years old, and it offers them the chance to learn about the faith in a joyful and supportive environment. Our dedicated team of volunteers leads the sessions, ensuring that the children are not only spiritually enriched but also have fun as they deepen their relationship with God.

If you would like your child to participate in Children’s Liturgy, bring them to the front when they leaven to the hall during mass or if you’re interested in volunteering to help with the group, please contact Rachel (email:r.oshaughnessy@btinternet.com) more information. We warmly welcome all families to join this special part of our parish community.
