The St. Vincent de Paul Society (SVP) is a global Christian voluntary network committed to tackling poverty in all its forms by offering practical help and support to those in need. Founded in Britain in 1844, SVP is an inclusive and welcoming society, extending care to individuals and families regardless of background or faith.

At St. Augustine’s, our SVP members are dedicated to reaching out to the vulnerable, lonely, or struggling, offering friendship, assistance, and a listening ear. Whether through home visits, providing essential resources, or simply spending time with those who feel isolated, we strive to bring hope and comfort in a spirit of compassion and justice.
